In this year's Motorcycle Cannonball race, one team stands out not only for their determination to win but also for the unique bond they share. Team 36, hailing from Beaver Dam, has transformed from a race team into a close-knit family of friends. With their eyes set on victory and their trusty 1928 Moto Guzzi Sport 14 with a sidecar, this team embodies the spirit of camaraderie and shared dreams.

Team 36 comprises an incredible group of individuals who have come together with a singular goal: to win the Cannonball race. Led by Jonas Zahn and Julie Zahn, the team includes Brenda Kuhl, Chris Kuhl, Trixie Schmidt, Steve Dahms, Stacy Griswold, Dave Waters, Mark Mitchell, Stephan Kuehn, and Christine Kuehn. Alongside them, good friends like Mark and Nancy, Rob, Chuck, and Tina, and Colorado Kim have joined their journey.
What makes Team 36 truly remarkable is the deep bond they share both on and off the racetrack. Their friendship extends beyond the pursuit of victory, and they take every opportunity to enjoy life together. Whether it's unwinding at the Ooga Brewery, having cookouts or boating on Beaver Dam Lake, or savoring delicious meals at local favorites like Damsels or Palenque, these friends have created a support system that goes far beyond racing.
The team's love for each other and their shared passion is evident in the moments they spend together. Breakfasts at the Great Harvest Bakery are a chance to fuel up for the day ahead, while dinners at Damsels or Palenque provide a space for laughter and relaxation after long days of preparation. And when they simply want to kick back and have a good time, they find themselves at The Mark, their go-to club.

Their passion for racing, embodied by their 1928 Moto Guzzi Sport 14 with a sidecar, is only surpassed by the strength of their friendship. As they race towards victory in the Motorcycle Cannonball, their story serves as a reminder that dreams are best pursued in the company of those who uplift and inspire us.
